It Was An Evening Charged With Excitement

Another record-breaking year for the “not to miss event, Martinis and Matisse!”

2012 marked another sellout year with over 700 attendees hoping for a chance to view, possibly win and take home one or more of the 122 pieces of fabulous donated art. Guests mingled with friends and artists, sampled the delectable culinary nibbles of our area’s finest restaurants, and savored wine and the trademark Bonefish Martinis.  Mellow music, provided by budding song writer and guitarist artist Will Cooper, filled the air and set the tone for a delightful evening.

The Featured art, a triptych titled “Let’s Sail Away” was donated by the Plein Aire Artists Mary RoseHolmes, Violetta Chandler and Helen Tilston and won by Dr. Kimberly Quick.   Dr. Quick was absolutely thrilled to
take her piece home.

 

Another special winner of the evening was Johanna Andriola who won a gorgeous pair of diamond earrings donated by International Diamond Center.

A special thank you to our 2012 Martinis & Matisse Honorary Chairs, Bob & Lesa Boos and event hosts, Frank and Brenda Crum of FrankCrum Employer Solutions who graciously opened their beautiful office complex for the evening.

Martinis and Matisse provides approximately 24 percent of the Clearwater Free Clinic’s annual budget.  Because of the generosity of many, ninety percent of the proceeds from this event will go directly to support clinic programs.
