Please join us for Clearwater's big event: Martinis & Matisse…An Art Lottery

The Clearwater Free Clinic’s annual Martinis and Matisse fundraiser will be held on
January 21st, 2012 at the beautiful FrankCrum building. This year, the Clinic is
privileged to have Bob and Lesa Boos as the 2012 Honorary Chairs. At this unique event, guests browse donated artwork in a gallery setting while enjoying live music, fine wine, smooth martinis, and amazing food provided by some of the area’s finest restaurants. At the end of the evening, each piece of art goes home with a winner of the lottery style auction. In addition, there will be a special drawing for a donated piece of artwork from this year’s featured artists the Plein Aire Cottage Artists—Mary Rose Holmes, Violetta Chandler and Helen Tilston.
All proceeds from the evening support the Clearwater Free Clinic, a non-profit, non-government facility which provides high quality health care to the low-income uninsured population living in Clearwater and surrounding communities. The medical and educational services we provide enable our patients to lead healthier and more productive lives, which in turn has a positive impact on their families and our community.
In 2010, the Clearwater Free Clinic provided 14,030 office visits and over 31,000 courses of medications.
Last year's event SOLD OUT! If you would like to receive an invitation to this year's event,

Introducing 2012 Featured Artists...
For 2012, the Clearwater Free Clinic is proud to feature the works of three award winning painters known as the Plein Aire Cottage Artists. Helen Tilston, Mary Rose Holmes and Violetta Chandler are three friends who have been painting together for the past ten years. All of their paintings are original and one of a kind painted outdoors, en plein air. Florida Trust for Historic Preservation has awarded all three artists for their untiring efforts to preserve Florida's history. Their art has been exhibited at Leepa Rattner Museum, Cornell Museum and at the Cabinet Meeting Room in Tallahassee as well as being displayed prominently throughout the Clearwater area.
For Martini's and Matisse, the artists are featuring a triptych which is a three paneled painting with one panel painted by each artist and when put together, they form one cohesive scene. The Clinic is excited to feature these talented artists at this year’s event.
